Macclesfield Town Football Club would like to announce its new prices for season 2008/09, which will almost certainly now be our 12th season in the Coca-Cola Football League.   Although the current season is not yet over, we are raring to go under new manager Keith Alexander and we can't wait for August to arrive so that we can get on with what will hopefully be a more fruitful season.

Two years ago, we slashed prices to the bone to try and build up a new generation of Silkmen supporters - and whilst this has been successful to a small degree, it has really hit us in terms of revenue as our attendances have only increased marginally.  We are going to continue with our under 12's go free policy as we think it is important to get young boys and girls used to watching local live football.  In the same vein, we will continue with our £5 match tickets and £50 season tickets (if bought before the early bird end date of 16 May) for under 16s too.

However, we have made the decision to increase adult and other concession prices for 2008/09 to help us remain competitive within the Football League.  Matchday prices will be as follows for next season:

Under 12

The new prices for 2008/09 are only marginally higher than those from season 2005/06, and are well 'within the pack' of competitor prices in League Two this year.

Season ticket prices will be in line with the above match day prices, but there is also an excellent 'early bird ' deal on season tickets until 16 May.  Prices are as follows:

We have listened to our season ticket holders, and this year, the 'early bird' deals give a significantly bigger number of 'free' games compared to the past couple of seasons.  In addition, season ticket holders will be able to gain free access to all Pontin's League reserve games held at the Moss Rose (assuming our application for membership is approved).

Season ticket renewal forms are in the post now, and will arrive in the next couple of days.  Remember that season tickets can be bought or renewed by post, on the phone or in person down at the ground.  As was the case last year, one of the first 500 to renew will get a free season ticket!  We look forward to another year in the Coca-Cola Football League, and we hope you will all be here to support us!
