Putting pen to paper on the extended deal

Cheshire Building Society has committed its support to its local football team Macclesfield Town FC by extending its contract as the main club sponsor for a further two seasons.The Society has been a proud sponsor for many years and main club sponsor since 2002.

Cheshire's Chief Executive Officer Karen McCormick visited the club to sign the contract and commented on the sponsorship deal: "We are delighted to extend our association with Macclesfield Town and are looking forward to strengthen our partnership as well as an exciting season under the new team management.As a local employer we feel it is important to support our community and this is one of the many programmes we have in place in the region."

Macclesfield Town Chief Executive Patrick Nelson added: "Obviously we are thrilled to have the Cheshire on board as our main sponsor for a further two seasons.It's another piece of good news following the signing of new players and several pre-season successes.All in all it is shaping up to be a great year for the team and we look forward to building on our partnership with the Cheshire."
