As Tommy Lee returns to Manchester United he bids farewell to the Moss Rose

"I thoroughly enjoyed my time with MacclesfieldTown, it was a fantastic opportunity for me to gain experience in the Football League and I'd like to thank the fans for their support, it was greatly appreciated."

"I was only at the Moss Rose for three months and during that time we struggled a bit. It was very frustrating because we'd had some great results against really good teams such as Wrexham and Carlisle United, but then again we also had some disappointing ones too."

"There was definitely a great team spirit in the dressing room and to be honest I'm going to miss the lads. There aren't many games left, but I hope the club finishes the season in a comfortable position. Good luck."
