Our pre-season friendly fixture list is now almost complete with the news that we will entertain local rivals Stockport County at the Moss Rose on Saturday 2nd August 2008.

The game will kick-off at 3pm with admission on the day to both the seated and terraced areas of the ground as follows:

Adults - £12

Over 60s - £8

12 to 15 year olds - £4

Under 12s - FREE (when accompanied by an adult)

With County getting promoted via the play-offs back in May this could be the only chance we get to reclaim local bragging rights unless of course we get paired in one of the three cup competitions at some stage this season.

"County did really well last season and I expect them to do well again this season," explained Keith Alexander. "The whole idea of pre-season friendlies is to prepare yourself for the start of the campaign. A local derby is perfect to that extent and it should set us up nicely for when we travel to Shrewsbury the following Saturday."

The club is also hoping to announce one more home future in the very near future.
