Season Ticket Update
If you are planning to buy a season ticket for the 2008/09 campaign you have just one more day to benefit from our great value 'Early Bird' tickets. The discounted prices remain on sale until 5pm this Friday (May 16th) after which time fans will have to pay the full amount. And it is clear judging by the late rush that more and more fans are excited by our prospects for next year with season ticket sales now well over the 500 mark.
"We really appreciate the support the fans have shown since we announced the season ticket prices," explained Chief Executive Patrick Nelson. "Last year we had just over 850 season ticket holders if you include our Vice Presidents and other categories. So to have broken the 500 barrier just two weeks after the end of the season is good news and hopefully means we are on course at least match last year's figure."
"What is really pleasing is the number of youngsters taking advantage of our 'Fans of the Future' initiative. That can only bode well for the long term and hopefully everyone will be rewarded with an exciting season ahead."
And one person can look forward to a season's football at the Moss Rose for free after our 'Lucky 500' draw was made late yesterday. And the winner is lifelong fan Peter Jones who has been a regular on the London Road terrace for many a year!

A season of football for free for Peter
"I couldn't believe it when I was told my name had been picked out of the hat," laughed Peter. "I've been coming down to the ground for over 50 years now and I can't wait for August to arrive. I know it is very early days and we've still to hear news about the squad for next season but Keith Alexander did a fantastic job at the end of last season and with his proven track record I am hoping for at least a top half finish next year."
