It has been a busy day at the Moss Rose with Keith Alexander having one to one meetings with all the members of this past season's playing squad. Whilst various decisions have been taken the club will not be formally announcing its retained and released list until next Friday (16th May).

"It has been a long day but hopefully a productive one," explained Keith as he left for the weekend. "We wanted to give the players a bit of extra time to mull over what we have spoken about and decide what they want to do. Obviously some of them are disappointed but we needed to make changes and give us scope to bring in some new faces. So we will be announcing all the details this time next week and take it from there."

"The players that were here on loan have all obviously returned to their clubs and some will be out of contract in a few weeks. I am keen to bring one or two of them back and will of course be speaking to them in due course as their circumstances become clearer."
