Scott Spencer has returned to Goodison Park after his initial one month loan deal expired yesterday. The striker made just three appearances during his time at the Moss Rose, all from the substitute's bench and leaves with our best wishes.

"I felt we needed some extra options up front when I arrived at the club," explained boss Keith Alexander. "Scott did well for us but with the other lads find their scoring boots I felt we wouldn't be able to guarantee him much football so it made sense not to take the option to sign him on for another month."
