"It's a massive result for us, people probably expected the two below us not to win today so it's pleasing that we won too and even more so as it's the first time this season we've won two in a row.

"You need to win at home in front of the fans who come week in, week out because they need something to cheer about and like to see their team win.

"You have to get into positions where you can have shots at goal and all week in training we've been working on shooting at every opportunity.

"Francis Green played for me when he was only 17.  I sold him for a lot of money and he hasn't fulfilled his potential because he should be playing at a higher level.  The last two goals he's scored have underlined that and I hope he can continue doing that.

"I've seen a lot of Jamie Tolley over the years and he's a very good player.  I don't think he's playing at his best by any stretch but we need eleven people in the side who know their role and he's definitely doing that for us as far as I'm concerned.

"Friday will be a massive game but at this stage they're all massive.I said when I came here that it will be our home form which dictates where we finish - if we can pick up the odd point away from home then all well and good.

"Ryan Cresswell went over on his ankle which was very disappointing because we conceded when he was off and on that side as well.It was from a hopeful ball through and we should be defending those better.

"Young Shaun Brisley has been absolutely outstanding today.  He's only 17 and has never played at left back in his life and he's come in and done a great job for the team.

"It was good to see Martin Gritton back, especially as he was only back in training yesterday.  He leads the line very well and holds the ball up.  Everybody knows that we're trying to get the ball forward quickly, once we're in their half of the pitch then we can play and you need a strong forward up there to be able to do that.

"I'm delighted with the three points and two wins on the trot which is very, very difficult.  One or two teams are now getting dragged into it who thought they were safe, we've gone above Notts County and they may have a game in hand but they haven't been winning recently and will have to win that game now."
