"I'm bitterly disappointed that we haven't got anything out of the game.  I thought we played very well, especially in the first half, and had more than enough chances to win the game.

"In the second half we still played well and their keeper made a few great saves - especially the one from Greeny.  We had the opportunities but the ball just wouldn't go in the net for us.

"We played some fabulous football at times but once we got into that box we just couldn't put the ball away.  We just haven't punished them when we should have done.

"Outside the box I thought we played some great stuff - made chances, got balls into the box, but there was no end product today and that's what has cost us the game.

"We got tight to them when necessary but when we had the ball we made space, got the ball out wide and put crosses in or went through the middle and had shots.  So I can't really fault any of the players apart from not getting the ball in the back of the net which was a bitter pill to swallow.

"We create a lot more chances when we play good football like in that first half, playing the ball on the floor.  We went a bit more direct in the last ten minutes when we were chasing the game and needed to try and get something out of it but I was very happy with our style today.  The players worked extremely hard when we didn't have the ball, which is vitally important, and we did that in abundance.

"We let their man get a free header in for the first goal which was one of their few opportunities to score and they took it.  The second goal, I'm not sure if it was offside or not but the ball fell to them and they put it away.  The simple fact is they had two real chances and scored two - we haven't done that.

"We have to take the plusses from the game though - the end product definitely wasn't there today but if we keep playing like that and creating that many chances then we'll win more games than we lose.

"We're still looking to get into that top half and there's no reason why we can't do that.  We've played some great stuff today - just like we have in a number of games this season.  We need to keep believing in what we're doing and if we keep trying to do those right things then we'll do well I'm sure."
