Silkmen help with Children in Need
Silkmen stars and management teamed up with one of Macclesfield's newest businesses this week to give a late push to Children in Need.

Jamie Tolley, JJ and Gareth Evans, along with Bob and Asa, all went along to The Playful Potter on Charlotte Street to hand decorate items of pottery. The Silkmen masterpieces will now be fired in the kiln, and will all be available to bid for at the shop until 5 December. All proceeds from the auction will go to Children in Need.
Gareth and Bob both made footprints on plates, which they later signed. Going one better, Asa made both a handprint and footprint on his plate, also signed of course. Jamie hand decorated a footballer figure (with number 11 on the back) and JJ painted a toy car money box (number plate JJ19).

If you want to check out The Playful Potter yourself and perhaps hand paint your own piece of pottery, pop in and see Cathy or Teresa at 38 Charlotte Street, phone them on 01625 619346 or check out their website (www.playfulpotter.co.uk)
