Macclesfield Town recorded their first home win of the season in spectacular style, scoring twice in injury time to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Wrexham went two ahead early in the first half before Martin Gritton, Dave Morley and Danny Thomas found the net to take all the points against a Robins side who finished with ten men.
Morley returned to the defence for his first league start of the season and it was the big centre half who wasted the first opportunity of the afternoon. Levi Reid's corner was cleared to Terry Dunfield, and as the ball came back in Morley's chest control forced him wide and he lashed over from a tight angle.
The visitors took the lead from the spot in just the sixth minute after Michael Proctor went down under Jimmy McNulty's challenge and the referee harshly judged that he had played the man before hooking the ball away. Proctor dusted himself off to send Tommy Lee the wrong way and roll his kick into the bottom right corner.
With Macc looking shaky at the back Wrexham pressed on and Lee's rushed clearance was charged down by Proctor - fortunately for the Silkmen it fell to McNulty to clear.
The Robins doubled their lead midway through the half when Neil Roberts' header out wide took two men out of the game and Mark Jones pulled the ball back into Chris Llewellyn's path who cooly slotted into the corner from eight yards.
Wrexham then sat back on their advantage allowing Macc to come onto them and as the home side pressed forward the game stretched from end to end. Thomas was brought down just outside the box by Jones who was booked for the foul and Kevin McIntyre's free kick was deflected behind.

Kevin McIntyre - put some quality set pieces into the box |
More good work from the impressive Thomas allowed Macc to get back into match on 36 minutes. His deep cross from the left was nodded back across goal for Martin Gritton to nod in his 50th Football League goal from close range.
Robbie Garrett was shown a yellow card for a two footed lunge which just missed McIntyre on the touchline five minutes before the break - something he may have regretted later in the game.
The visitors were looking good down their right and Proctor raced away down the flank trying to regain the two goal lead but after getting to the byline his low ball in was knocked behind by Morley.
Thomas was looking dangerous on the ball and also showed his threat to Anthony Williams' goal when he hit a thunderbolt out of the blue from 30 yards which flew inches past the post.
As the referee brought an entertaining half to a close Macc were still looking good to get something from the game despite conceding another early goal before kicking into gear.
Gritton wasted a good chance to level the game three minutes into the second half when he headed McIntyre's cross over the bar from around the penalty spot. The big Scot then missed an even better opening when he was again found by McIntyre and this time from even closer range he somehow put his diving header well wide.

Martin Gritton - scored his fifth of the campaign but could have had more |
Gritton teed up Adam Murray to shoot straight at the keeper just after the hour and soon afterwards there was a flurry of substitutions for both sides as Macc pressed on even more and Wrexham tried to shore up their defence.
Gareth Evans replaced Francis Green, Levi Reid was taken off for Simon Wiles and the visitors brought on former Hartlepool striker Eifion Williams for goalscorer Proctor.
Lee had to be alert to race off his line and slide the ball clear as Eifion Williams looked to get in behind the Macc defence and later with Wrexham still threatening on the break Llewellyn was allowed to run 50 yards unchallenged with the ball before shooting just wide from 20 yards.
The visitors were reduced to ten men when an altercation between Lee and Garrett earned them both a booking and as it was Garrett's second he was off. The away fans were incensed with the decision as Lee did appear to have hold of Garrett and after going a man down Wrexham became even more desperate as they attempted to hold on.
A Dunfield free kick was deflected behind off the wall and a rare Robins attack saw Llewellyn firing wide on the break.
As the fourth official signalled four minutes of time added on Macc threw everything forward including Dave Morley who had been sent up to add some height to the Silkmen attack.
A brilliant ball in from Simon Wiles was headed away from under the crossbar as it looked like the time would tick away despite Macc's late domination.
The game turned on its head in the final three minutes though as Morley capped his 100th League start for Macc with a bullet header from McIntyre's cross and as Welsh heads dropped the Silkmen pressed for a winner.
The turnaround was completed in rather bizarre fashion three minutes into injury time when a ball from the right fell to Danny Thomas on the other wing. He knocked the ball past his man and his deep cross drifted over Williams and dropped straight in at the far post sending the Macc players and fans into delirium.

Danny Thomas - capped a wonderful performance with the dramatic winner |
Around a minute later full time was signalled and an amazing game was brought to an end. The first home win came courtesy of an amazing comeback and possibly some of the luck Macc have been lately lacking.
Brightwell's side must now make this home win the first of many and could make that task much easier if they can cut out the recent trend of only starting to play after going behind.
